Limited Warranty and Return
INNOVOCEAN Marine provides a premium warranty as a testament to our engineering standards. Our boats are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the durations specified below.
Claim Requirement: A copy of the original purchase receipt is mandatory for all claims. Submission must include all pertinent evidence, including high-resolution photos and maintenance records. Note: Warranty coverage is non-transferable, and applies only to original registered owner.
Duration of Coverage
| 5 Years | Buoyancy tubes, fabric, and seams for: Metal Master, Jet Master, Osprey A, ALS, ALD, ALC, and ALC Deluxe Series. |
| 2 Years | Buoyancy tubes, fabric, and seams for: Osprey B and Navisoul. (Warranty extensions available at time of purchase). |
| 1 Year | Hull, floor, attachments, motor remote parts, lights, floorboards, seats, oars, air pump, lifting handles, D-rings, valves, anchor holders, transom integrity, console, and steering cables. |
| 30 Days | Boat bags (carry/bow/seat), cushions, bundle/promotion items, and all associated fittings. |
| 7 Days | All claims for missing or damaged parts must be filed within 7 days of delivery receipt. |
Things NOT Covered
The INNOVOCEAN Limited Warranty does not cover damage resulting from environmental factors, neglect, or improper operation. Specifically excluded items include:
- Vehicle-Assisted Towing Damage: Any structural failure (transom bracket fractures, weld cracks, or hull fabric tears) resulting from the use of motor vehicles, ATVs, or mechanical winches to pull the boat via manual-assist hardware.
- Dynamic Shock Loading: Structural compromise caused by sudden jerks or extreme torque during retrieval on uneven terrain, exceeding engineered bonding limits.
- Normal wear and tear, discoloration, or color fading.
- Damage caused by neglect, lack of maintenance, or accidents.
- Use of non-INNOVOCEAN supplied parts or unauthorized alterations/tampering.
- Improper protection against UV-Rays or extreme cold weather (e.g., storing boats outdoors during winter).
- Deterioration caused by fuel, harsh chemicals, or solvents.
- Seam separation due to excessive heat exposure.
- Failure to operate the vessel in accordance with the Owner’s Manual.
- Damage resulting from high-pressure washing.
- Use of oversized engines or exceeding the vessel's rated capacity.
- Failure to securely fix the outboard motor to the transom.
Commercial Use
For vessels used for rental, camps, resorts, or other commercial purposes, this Limited Warranty is restricted to 120 days for parts and two years for PVC material from the date of original purchase.
Owner Responsibility
The owner/operator is solely responsible for the safe operation of the vessel and the safety of its passengers. All provincial and federal requirements (licensing, safety gear, etc.) must be strictly followed.
Heavy Setup Requirement (20HP+): Owners of vessels equipped with 20HP motors or larger are responsible for using appropriate recovery systems. INNOVOCEAN strongly mandates the use of a 3-Point Bow Bridle System and Reinforced 3-Wheel Dolly for shore-based handling to ensure structural integrity.
Returns & Exchanges
- 7-Day Policy: Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received. No refunds/exchanges after 7 days.
- Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee applies to SUP Boards and Inflatable Boats less than 16 feet in length.
- Non-Returnable: Labor, installation services, and shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Outboard Motors: All sales are final. Workmanship defects are handled under the respective manufacturer’s limited warranty.
Shipping and Pick Up
Delivery & Fraud Prevention
To prevent Credit Card fraud, all items valued over $300 will be shipped ONLY to the Billing Address of the credit card used. If your shipping address differs from your billing address, an alternative payment method must be selected. We do not deliver to PO Boxes.
Returns Shipping
The purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning an item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. For items valued over $75, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
Store or Depot Pick Up
For online purchases intended for local pickup, ONLY the cardholder may pick up the product. A valid photo ID and a signature on the pickup slip are mandatory.
