Engineered for the Canadian Wild

Real-world feedback. Stronger engineering. Safer retrieval. We don’t hide limits — we engineer beyond them.

Important: Dolly wheel mounts are designed for manual handling and short-distance movement. Vehicle towing from the transom dolly mount is not recommended. Use a trailer + winch or a 3-point bow bridle for controlled retrieval.

Original Design Context

What we learned from real ramps

On uneven Canadian ramps, boats can get stuck. Standard manual-assist hardware isn't designed for the sudden jerks or unfavorable angles that happen when vehicle pulling is attempted.

The Result: We saw the need to upgrade the system for rugged backcountry use.
WARNING: Structural Damage
⚠️ Real-World Risk

Why damage happens

Vehicle towing introduces shock loads. In real incidents, two points fail first: the bow D-ring (glue shear) and the transom dolly bracket (metal fatigue/fracture).

Best practice: Avoid "jerk towing". Use a proper trailer or the 3-point bridle below.
Reinforced heavy-duty transom mount structure
Upgrade #1

Reinforced Heavy-Duty Transom Mounts

Standard on OS380A / 420A / MAC380. We redesigned the transom bracket structure with:

Wider load path to reduce stress concentration.
Reinforced weld zones for higher durability.
High-tensile geometry built for real-world conditions.
Military-grade 3-point bow bridle towing system
Upgrade #2

Military-Grade 3-Point Bow Bridle System

Standard on PRO Models (380+). A single D-ring isn't enough for heavy towing. Our 3-point bridle system:

Distributes force across the hull structure, not one glued point.
Stabilizes the boat for safer, straighter retrieval.
Eliminates shock loading on individual components.
Note: For PRO models 380+, we remove dolly mounts entirely. We recommend trailer + winch as the only safe standard for this weight class.
Can I tow the boat using a vehicle?
Vehicle towing from the transom dolly mount is not recommended. Use a trailer + winch or a 3-point bow bridle with slow, steady pulling.
Why remove dolly mounts on PRO 380+?
At higher weight classes, dolly mounts become a compromise. Trailer retrieval improves safety, control, and long-term structural integrity.
How do I choose the right retrieval setup?
Tell us your model, engine weight, ramp type, and whether you use a trailer. We’ll recommend the safest setup.
